Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Citizenship: Must be a citizen of a country other than China.
- Age: Be under 45 years old and in good physical and mental health.
- Academic Qualification: Hold a bachelor’s degree or higher, with at least three years of work experience.
- Professional Experience: Preference is given to:
- Government officials at division chief level or above.
- Senior managers in institutions or enterprises.
- University or research administrators.
- Individuals with relevant experience in international organizations.
A pre-admission letter from one of the participating universities is mandatory at the time of application.
Application Process

- Choose the “Youth of Excellence Scheme of China.”
Document Review: The China Scholarship Council (CSC) will review applications and arrange expert evaluations.
Announcement of Results: Final outcomes will be announced in June 2025, with admission documents sent to successful applicants.
Visa and Registration: Accepted candidates should apply for a visa at Chinese embassies or consulates in July-August 2025 and commence studies in September 2025.
