The fellowship, in collaboration with the International Strategy Forum and the Special Competitive Studies Project, is open to alumni of the International Strategy Forum Fellowship. It offers a 12-month opportunity to work with the Digital Society Programme, focusing on pressing issues such as:

  • Sovereign AI Development Pathways
  • AI Platform Resilience in Great Power Competition
  • State-Centric Technology Development and Governance
  • Semiconductor Supply Chain Governance

Selection Criteria:

  • Alumni of the International Strategy Forum Fellowship
  • Independent research experience, relevant qualifications or equivalent professional experience
  • Proven leadership potential
  • Commitment to Chatham House’s mission of developing evidence-based solutions to international challenges
  • Motivation to meet fellowship goals and make a positive impact

Benefits:

  • Monthly stipend of £2,365 for London living expenses
  • Coverage for relocation, healthcare surcharge, and research-related costs
  • Access to workshops, career coaching, networking, and Chatham House membership
  • Hybrid working (minimum 2 days per week in the office)
